General Camp FAQs

Where are your camps located?

Our host camps are located in Mound, MN and Boone, IA.

Why do I have to provide an immunization record for my camper?

To protect all of our campers, we will be enforcing our immunization policy more strongly. Our policy closely follows state law regarding immunization schedules to be followed. The one difference, is that Camp Quest North will not allow conscientious objection. Campers who cannot receive immunizations due to a medical reason will be allowed to attend camp, however. More information regarding immunizations can be found here: http://www.health.state.mn.us/immunize

Do I have to wait until my child has a physical before I can register them?

No. You can register now and upload the physical exam form so that we get it no later than two weeks before camp. We do not need to have the physical exam form in hand to register your child.

I have a physical exam form for my child for a different camp or a sports team. Will you accept that?

Yes, provided it has essentially the same information and is signed by a licensed physician. It also must be current (within the last 12 months).

How do I apply for financial assistance?

A limited number of full or partial scholarships are available for those who need financial assistance. A section for scholarship applications will be part of your registration. A $100 deposit is required to complete a registration. If you are in need of a full scholarship including the deposit please contact us at [email protected] and we will help make sure you can register.

When is full payment due?

Full payment is due 30 days before your camp session starts. Any unpaid fees will be automatically charged to your card on file 30 days before the start of camp.

Cancellations & Refunds

A non-refundable $100 deposit is required at registration to reserve your camper’s spot in camp.

Cancellation policy
-Cancellations made 30 days or more prior to your camp start date will receive a full refund, excluding the $100 non-refundable deposit.
-Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to your camp start date will receive a 50% refund, excluding the $100 non-refundable deposit.

Last-minute cancellations prevent other kids from enjoying our camp. Thank you for your understanding.

If your child is unable to attend camp, please consider converting all or part of your registration fees into a donation or scholarship to assist families in need. Your donation will be fully tax-deductible.

Can I help pay for someone’s registration costs?

New in 2022, anyone that makes an account on our new registration system, UltraCamp, will be able to purchase and email e-giftcards. Gift cards can be made in any amount.

Can we get extra T-shirts?

Sure! One T-shirt is included with the registration fee, but you can purchase more on the first and last days of camp.

How do I make a donation?

Donate via our Give MN site.

Who runs this camp, anyway?

Camp Quest North is an independent non-profit organization founded in 2004. The camp is governed by a Board of Directors who serve as volunteers, and operated by a staff of volunteer counselors. The name ”Camp Quest” is used under a licensing agreement with Camp Quest, Inc, an umbrella organization overseeing eight Camp Quests in the United States and three in other countries. All Camp Quests share a common purpose and mission, and all are operated as non-profit organizations by volunteers.
